JOB TITLE: Property Maintenance Technician
EMPLOYER: Humane Society of Pinellas
DEPARTMENT: Property Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Director of Shelter Operations
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing day-to-day repairs, emergency
maintenance, and preventive maintenance on building and Humane Society of Tampa Bay
Grounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receives work orders for corrective repair work on a variety of building physical structures,
equipment, and system components.
• Finalizes work order by completing necessary paperwork.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs toilets, sinks etc.
• Perform lights, ballasts and switch replacement etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Painting
• Handyman work
• Trimming trees/bushes, laying mulch
• Complete grounds work as directed by the Director of Shelter Operations which may include
picking up trash, sweeping, pressure washing, clearing dumpster area and maintaining
landscape.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite a plus
